Silent Silverton
DECEMBER 6th 2009 The Storm is coming. We expect 2-3 feet in town and up to 5 feet on the mountain slopes – Skiers are ecstatic! At the time the photos were taken we had about 4-6 inches depending on where you were in town.

Looking down Snowden Street toward Sultan Mountain catching the Grenadiers far-far off in the back ground.

Only moments later

Kendall Mountain from Snowden Street

From out my window across Green Street and the 12th Street crossing.

Across the street from my room and taken from my window – the famous Grand Imperial Hotel – undergoing a new paint job – will be brick red with green and tan trim.

Front of my building looking up Green Street to our Christmas tree that sits in the the middle of the intersection of Green Street and 14th Street.

The Stellar Bakery on Blair Street is OPEN! YAY!!!! Great food!!! Most of the town shuts down for a good deal of winter – talk of the town is who is open and when.

The Villa Dallavalle Boutique Bed and Breakfast. This is where my good friend Pam resides and manages the B&B and where I do many of my massages for their guests.
Silverton - it’s sleepy – it’s silent - it’s breathtaking…
