THANKFUL THURSDAY
Yep its that time again.
I am dedicating this Thankful Thursday to all my wonderful clients and friends. Some cried, some laughed, some gave extra money. Other’s know me well enough to give me mementos of profound value to me. One such momento came from Sheila she is a friend as well as a client. We use to swim every Tuesday together, have taken our dogs on a hike together. We shared food across the fence when we were neighbors. We went to sweats together. We watched each others house, and she even doctored my mare for me when I had to go away for a few days. She babysat my greyhound, Future, and they became good friends. Future died this past Thanksgiving. Sheila gave me a metal potted plant art of a greyhound for a going away gift. Of course I broke down in tears and nearly crumbled right there. Sheila is someone who I will never forget. I hope we retain our friendship even if from a distance for the rest of our lives.
Other great friends and clients are Tom and Deana, I have been giving them massages for nearly three years now. We have talked in depth about our dreams, our troubles, our goals, about anything you can imagine. Mostly we talked about health related issues and sustainable living. In recent months when I’d go to their home and while giving them their massages I would get a craving for a white cake with white old fashioned frosting. Well the last time I was there I mentioned it to them and thought that maybe it was something about their decorating style that triggered the craving. They have a very traditional country Victorian decorating taste. Well today? You guessed it. When I arrived at their home they had that white cake waiting for me. Deana took many pictures, while their girls gave me hugs. Tom said it was a sad day and thanked me for helping him through his health issues. I’ll really miss these guys!
Others gave me gifts, while everyone gave me hugs and well wishes. Rebecca has bent over backwards to help me and has been extremely supportive.
I can’t write about everyone of my clients and friends, but for today’s Thankful Thursday I want to express my heart felt gratitude for each and everyone of you. You each will hold a special spot in my heart.
Thanks for being you, thanks for being so dedicated and putting so much effort out to support me in my business and personal endeavors. I have been truly blessed for having known you.
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but
friendship is clairvoyant.THANK YOU for being a part of my life,
Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
