Heather and I spent quite a bit of time on the phone yesterday.  She had found a place she thought that would suit for a temporary place for Pai and Pro upon landing in Colorado end of this coming June.

It is called Rapp Corral.  I have driven past it many times during my visits to Silverton over the past 5 years.  They run a wrangling outfit.  I spoke with Annie the owner yesterday and we came up with a solution that is quite reasonable in board. I’ll bring my panels and set up two separate 10 x10 stalls, make the feed bags like what Simrat has  on her site, Akal Ranch,  and go up ever day 40 minutes each way to clean the stalls.  This will only be for a couple weeks and hopefully shorter than that as I hope to find a private pasture in the surrounding area where I can set up my corrals and start adjusting my horses to pasture life for the summer.

With that covered I finally feel like I am moving.  Another cool thing that has solidified my move is that I have finally sold my business. I wont get paid for it until end of June and 1st of July is when the new therapist will take over.  My room mate and my massage therapist is the lucky new owner with some great new clients to add to her appointment book.  I am not getting as much for my business as I had wanted.  But I have peace of mind, and I know my clients will get good safe service form Rebecca.  I can leave my clients in capable hands that care.  That is worth a lot to me.

And we’ll see what really happens in the next few weeks.  But I may be trading my truck in.  YIKES did I say that?!  Yes the company I bought it from has been calling me trying to get me to sell my truck to them.  I need a 4×4 in CO., so I am talking to them.  We have yet to make final decision.  So there may be some more exciting stuff in the near future. Or not.  I love my truck as you all know. So its no skin off my nose.  It wasn’t for sale in the first place.  So if they want it bad enough they’ll find a way to make me happy.
